When I first started out.
I was a generalist that had a passion for accounting technology.
I set out to be the premiere accounting technology firm in North Florida.
Little did I know, I would have a panic attack on day 4, and more importantly, realize that premiere accounting tech was not going to cut it.
Mid panic attack I came up with the phrase:
Technology is only a tool, not a differentiator.
That first year, like any freshly minted entrepreneur can attest, was pure hustle, grit, and a whooollle lotta learning.
At that same time, I was working with a brewery here in Jacksonville and saw the complexities that come with running a brewery.
I realized there’s a growing industry of entrepreneurs who have potential to create amazing, local products, and they need help.
More specifically, help with the back office, systems, compliance, and process.
Once that happened, things changed for good.
A niche was born.
I had a hunch of what was going to happen to the industry, but I did not know it would grow to the behemoth it has; the jobs created, real estate saved, wealth creation, has been fast and furious.
It’s been a wild ride.
Our mission has been the same from the very beginning, and highlights a personal and professional goal of mine:
To build deeper relationships.
It’s been an amazing decade and the best is yet to come!
