Brewery Accountant
Meet Sallie
Sallie came to accounting by way of the kitchen, and that’s not as unlikely as it sounds!
After 15 years as a personal chef serving high-profile Houston clientele, she knows what it means to build something from scratch and pour everything into it. That experience taught her the skill she considers her professional superpower: making clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood.
She brings that same instinct to the numbers. Based in Montgomery, Texas, she’s currently working her way through the Texas craft beer scene one taproom at a time. Purely for research purposes, of cours
Q&A With Sallie
What do you consider your professional superpowers to be?
Having the ability to make each client feel seen, heard and understood.
What do you like most about the craft industry?
That two craft brewers can take the exact same ingredients, and make something that tastes entirely different. It truly is part science, part artistry, just like cooking!
What are some of your other interests?
Cooking (of course), road trips to places I’ve never been, crocheting, music, and learning other languages.
What’s your craft beverage of choice?
For hot Texas summer days, I like the Bombshell Blonde from Southern Star. I’m also fond of B-52 Brewing Co’s Breakfast Stout.
