Meet Michelle
Michelle brings a rock-solid background in accounting to SBS, having worked remotely at a traditional accounting firm based in Richmond, VA, where she managed full-cycle accounting and tax work for a wide range of clients. With her sharp attention to detail and calm, grounded approach, Michelle helps elevate SBS accounting operations and keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Originally from Virginia Beach and a proud ODU grad, Michelle now calls Bremo Bluff, VA home. She lives on several acres known as “Four Paws Farm,” alongside one of her daughters, five dogs, two cats, and a flock of chickens—with goats (and even more animals!) likely joining the crew soon (if her daughter has her way).

What do you consider your professional superpowers to be?
My attention to detail and flexibility to adapt to any situation.
What do you like most about working at SBS?
Having the ability to work remotely, independently yet still be a part of a great team.
What are some of your other interests?
Enjoying the outdoors with my kids and animals, gardening, antiquing, and going to farmers markets as well as traveling the world with my kids.
What’s your craft beverage of choice?
All of them but particularly fond of blackberry ciders or anything with grapefruit notes
