Hailing from the picturesque landscapes of North Carolina, Hazel’s non-traditional journey into accounting began while working for a pottery studio. The creative, no-rules approach of throwing in pottery and the structured, follow-all-the-rules world of bookkeeping fascinated Hazel and encouraged her to hone her skills, eventually becoming a lead bookkeeper before joining Small Batch Standard.
