Meet Karina
Originally from Napa, California, Karina began her career in the wine industry before relocating to Portland, Oregon, where she expanded her experience in the craft beer industry.
Her experience includes TTB permitting, multi-state permitting, labeling compliance (COLAs and formulas), federal excise tax, state sales tax, multi-state compliance, and TTB audits.
Karina holds a Finance degree from Portland State University.

What do you consider your professional superpowers to be?
Creative problem-solving paired with resourcefulness.
What do you like most about the craft industry?
There’s something real and authentic about the craft industry. What drew me in was the creativity, innovation, dedication and collaborative community.
What are some of your other interests?
Reading, discovering new music and films, my pug, chasing after my toddler nephews and exploring Portland’s culinary and craft beverage culture.
